Giclée (pronounced as zhee-clay) represents the pinnacle of fine art printing.

In some ways, it works similar to inkjet printers you may have used at home. The main difference lies in the number of ink colors (11 to be exact) and precision.

Unlike cheaper inkjets that use dye-based inks, my method employs pigment-based inks, extending the artwork's lifespan to 100-200 years without significant fading.

This advanced technique ensures the creation of top-tier archival fine art prints, underscoring my commitment to delivering the highest quality possible for your prints.

Hahnemühle is a paper mill in the Relliehausen district of Dassel, Germany, founded in 1584.

Photo Rag is the name given to papers made from 100% cotton fibers. It is known for its exceptional quality and archival properties.

Artists often choose photo rag paper when they want to create high-quality, museum-grade prints that capture the essence of traditional art on a durable and long-lasting medium.

Much like the delicate flavor of a fine wine depends on the choice of grapes, the quality of a print hinges on the paper it is printed on.

In my journey to find the perfect medium for my images, I tested over 30 different papers from different brands. As a result, I discovered two fine art papers that consistently stood out in my test prints:

  • Hahnemühle Photo Rag Baryta

  • Hahnemühle Photo Rag Metallic.

The distinctive quality and archival durability of Hahnemühle photo rag papers adds finesse to the final product. By using these papers, I confidently offer you photography that is not only visually stunning but also long lasting.
